Bruce Del Fante, D.C.
I was born in San Francisco and raised in the bay area. After high school, I attended Canada Junior College in Woodside. I received my Associate of Arts degeee there, and went to Chico State University receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education. After Chico State, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Sunnyvale, California. I graduated from Palmer in 1984 and worked as an associate doctor in another chiropractor's office for approximately one year. In 1986 I opened my own business, Piedmont Chiropractic. In 1990 I married my wife, Diane, and currently have two boys in high school. When I am not at work I enjoy working out, playing basketball with my boys, and golfing.
Through the years I received two special higher education certificates. The first was my certificate as a Qualified Medical Examiner (Q.M.E.). This certificate allows me to perform special examinations relating to difficult, unresolved workers' compensation cases. My second was my Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner certificate. This certificate enables me to effectively diagnose and treat a wide variety of sports related injuries. Recently, I have enjoyed working for Alameda Junior Colleges mens' basketball and womens' volleyball teams as their athletic trainer/chiropractor.
